“The thugs came in a twin cab vehicle that had no number plates with three people in front and 10 others sitting at the back around 12 midnight and demanded that the guards open the office doors. After the party officials refused to open the doors, the thugs fired gunshots and one of the MDC members, Edson Ngwerume was hit in the chest. They sprinkled petrol around the building and set it alight.”

They repeatedly said that his “crime” was that he voted for the MDC during the elections.

It is things like this, in my opnion, that makes the whole process unfair. We shall never have peace in Zimbabwe unless the perpetrators of these crimes are brought to book. They are known!

  2. Babson says:

Zanu PF leadership should pay for this through the justice system. mugabe’s hands have been dripping blood since 1980 till now shame on that man, he doesn’t deserve to be called a leader. Shame on him and his henchmen.

    Is this ethical journalism?

I have complained in the past about the use of these images to score points against political rivals. These images will drive me mad at Mugabe for maintaining power through the blood of innocent Zimbabweans by they also make me very made at this site for disrespecting the ethics of journalism. One ofr these pictures belongs to my relative and it does not help me psychologically to view these images over and over again. I have never received any request from this site and many others for the use of my relative in this manner. I am sure the relatives of all the other departed people forming part of this display have also never been contacted.

Please guys, Mugabe is rotten to the core. He has caused more murders than these. There is no need to display my relative’s image to prove to anyone that zanu PF is rotten. Let us stick to ethics.

  10. Moyondizvo Dewa says:

Firstly, I think the people murdered by ZANU -PF are crying to us the living to do something. If we do not expose the extend of ZANU-PF brutality nobody will understand what the MDC says they want change of government. These people were not murdered because of their families or relatives, they were murdered because they championed freedom for all the people of Zimbabwe. It is therefore naive to think that we should respect their relatives without taking into account their cries for justice. Naturally if people see the manner they died, we the living are galvanized to take action against their murderers. This is not a family issue. It is a national issue. They died for national issues. My I ask the person claiming to be a relative of one of the person murdered to tell the nationa what they have done, legally, to bring the perpetrators of these heinous crimes to book?

At this juncture, may I appeal to the MDC, especially Morgan Tsvangirai not to yield an inch to ZANU PF demands to rotate the Min. of Home Affairs. If they agree on rotation of Home Affairs, then it has to happen to all the Ministries, including Defence etc.

    No general amnesty for murderers!

  11. Castor says:

Mthwakazi – the pain of seeing relatives in this way must be extreme.

Sometimes, only the truth will suffice. It will soon be time for truth and reconciliation.

I am truly sorry to hear of your suffering.

  12. Fcuk ZANU! says:

We don’t want this GNU, lets have a winner take all election with coalition forces to maintain order. After that we’ll deal with these murderers, no mercy to them.

  13. Zwangendaba says:
