Moroka Swallows have joined the race for the services of former Zimbabwe international striker Peter Ndlovu who is currently training with Platinum Stars.

Ndlovu’s contract with Mamelodi Sundowns was not renewed after spending three years with the Chloorkop-based outfit and he was given a free clearance. He was invited by his former coach at Sundowns — Miguel Gamondi — to come down to the Rustenburg-based team for an assessment.

However, the player has been training with Platinum Stars for the last three weeks but the club seem uncertain about whether to offer the “Bulawayo Express” a contract or whether they still want to have a further look at the man who top scored for Sundowns last season and once played for Sheffield United and Coventry at the English Premiership..
