CIO to be dismantled

The new deal between ZANU PF and MDC includes disbanding the feared Central Intelligence Organisation, which like the police comes under the mantle of the Ministry of Home Affairs to be controlled by the MDC.

The SADC and the AU are to guarantee the deal along with a joint monitoring council made up equally of members of Zimbabwe’s two main parties.

The deal calls for a new constitution to be drawn up within 18 months and put to a national referendum. New elections should be held 90 days after.

And make good the roaster of war vetrans, the land roaster and attend to the economic malaise that the battle made worse. remember the people who suffered when these political forces were tussling. They need the reprieve of sane and competent leadership to revive hopes in their trodden lives.THE BATTLE FOR THIS GNU IS MASSSIVE -LET THEM FIGHT IT WITH THE SAME VIGOUR THEY DI IN THEIR IDEOLOGICAL WARS. i think zanu and mdc have lots of energy to make things work as they did in brutalizing and neglecting our welfare for their political goals.we give them time or the third force emerges and the roller coaster begins.
