Wafawarova was a CIO agent while he was at university. He used to be a student subwarden in complex 5 hostel also known as Bagdad. His room was close to the foyer entrance of the hall. This hall was the hot bed of student activism at Univerity of Zimbabwe, a place where militant first year male students resided. He was stratergically placed to monitor the student activities there and report them to his handlers. Student demontrations always started with an address in the foyer/ hall entrance. You would always see Wafawarova and his Zanu pf friend like Makwarimba milling around there to. Makwarimba was close to Minister of Youth Affairs Saviour Kasukuwere. Kasukuwere is well known to have worked in CIO for years where he was a driver for Manicaland provincial director of the CIO and had operated in Gorongossa during the Renamo Mozambique war. After University Wafawarova went on to work somewhere in Mashonaland central .I would then meet him some time in 2000 in the streets of Harare. As a former subwaden in the complex I had lived in my first year at University I naturally greated him and enquired about life. He told me that he had joined the “President’s Office” and he was going to work in the youth and gender department. I just reasoned out that he had joined the spy agency because the “President’s Office” is known euphemism for Central Intelligence Organisation CIO in Zimbabwe. If he was an innocent guy he would have just said he works in the Ministry of Gender/Youth. How does he relate to the Makwarimba/Kasukuwere nexus…..

metro – allow us space to exercise our free speech. you are no different from the rest of them. allow free speech and let others deal with the facts.you are not to judge. if you come out and tell us you support mdc then i will go for good. never to bother you again.as things stand i take it you are a neutral paper-or are you a part of the regime change agenda. i will never apologise for supporting the liberation party. it is in my blood till death. dont feed us the mdc garbage -just supply the news as a respectable paper should. if you have no news then dont invent any- just let the old story run for weeks like this REASON currently running.

my suggestion to you is to have a section specifically just for people’s opinions so people can let out their frustrations there. At least they do not have to wait for a headline to get excited. they can also invent and contribute meaningful ideas instead of being managed by the headline of the day.allow people to air their opinions and let them debate issues resposibly without attention grabbibg headlines. This way they can also manage their nager through debate. They can debate issues that matter to them instead of being forced to support ugly morgan.

Even the ZNA now say MDC is better after not getting their second pay packet promised by the idiotic government.The reason they gave is that the government has run out of money.And the rope tightens.

It seems only fair for those who engage in acts of violence or encourage them to stay and face the music. Its cowardice to escape and look for ‘the good life’ away from that which you say you believe in.Mr Wafawarova should learn the lesson and be an example for all other people destroying the country , plundering its wealth so they can escape and leave it in ruins for life abroad.Zanu is full of hypocrites who pretend to be on Mugabe’s side while the reap handsome rewards for loyalty and who quickly renounce him and pretend to be opposition and would lick any shoes that need licking once out of the country.A lot of these cowards throw a lot of hot air about on MDC being sell outs. The greatest sell outs are those who destroy the country, run the health system into the ground, burn women and children in the streets and kill and then buy the first ticket out of poverty, on one hand promising to continue the war abroad to Zanu,when in reality they are escaping poverty and ruin in Zimbabwe with no intention to come back.Those are the same people who are stalling the peace process because they stand to gain from the current chaos. When they have finished looting, they wull pack a bag and leave for exotic locations where they will join in the muttering and agree that the country is in ruins.
