Information Communication Technology minister Nelson Chamisa has reportedly tendered his resignation over the seizure of the department of telecommunications from his ministry.
Sources say in a meeting with Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, President Robert Mugabe was reportedly adamant that he was not backing down on his earlier decision to grab the communication sector from the Information Communication Ministry,prompting Chamisa to fax his resignation to the president’s office.
Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, together with the two deputy prime ministers, on Thursday held a meeting in Harare which failed to resolve the Communication ministry stalemate and other outstanding issues of the global political agreement.
Last week President Robert Mugabe said the communications department would fall under the ministry of transport, communications and infrastructure development headed by Nicholas Goche, a top aide to Mugabe.
Goche was part of the negotiating team to form a power-sharing government with the main opposition.
Chamisa has been spokesman for the longtime for Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), which has formed a power-sharing government with Mugabe’s ZANU-PF.

mugabe does not care about Zimbabwe as long as we do not get this into our heads and take action there shall be no progress in rebuilding this country, if this is true I don’t blame CDE Chamisa because this was a demotion. We cannot be treated in this manner, we have to be equal partners. zanu is a party of madofo that is the only reality.

I am not interested in playing games I use my time for other business like exposing zanu dirt. zanu is dirty and CDE Chamisa is weighing his options, if you realise in Kenya the Minister of Justice from the President Kibaki’s party resigned because the President was appointing Judges without her consent. I don’t see any difference between Kibaki and mugabe both mental cases. This is not the first time such a thing happens, where there is mugabe there is no progress all you zanu idiots when are you going to realise this?

For your own information Abel, Nkosana Moyo was very principled. He could not be manipulated. He is atually representing Zimbabwe at the ADB. He is the Vice President at ADB in case you did not know. If he was not good, he would not have got such an appointment. Check that for yourself.
