Action Contre la Faim is a non-governmental organisation. It intervenes in 40 countries and implements nutrition and health, food security, water sanitation and hygiene, and advocacy programmes. On the international level, Action Contre la Faim is also present in Paris, London, Madrid, New York and Montreal.

We are looking for: A FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (M/F)
Country: ZIMBABWE – Harare
General objective:
The Financial Controller is a senior member holding a key position within the management of a mission and, in liaison with Head of Mission, is responsible for all financial and administrative aspects.
The administrator is based in Harare with regular short visits on the field.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the accounting of the mission performed by the Capital Accountant
- Budget management
- Consolidate cash and cash flow
- Follow up on financing and the financial risk
- Supervise the Administrator team
- Administrative management
- Supervise Expatriates? Administrative management
- Training
Qualification and previous experience:
- Strong financial background (accountancy or financial management)
- Will have excellent communications skills, both oral and written, self motivation and decision making skills
- Knowledge of donor regulations
- Ability to analyze budgets and make financial forecasts
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, make decisions independently and meet various deadlines
- Creativity and adaptability skills to work in a volatile environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, make decisions and meet various deadlines
- Ability to relate to and motivate national staff effectively
- Ability to analyze budgets and make financial forecasts
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Capacity of negotiation with administrative bodies and donors, flexibility and wide vision of further impact of the administrative issues
- Good computer skills (SAGA, Word, Excel)
- Humanitarian experiences are required
- English compulsory

Length of contract: 1 year

Employee:
- Fixed-term contract
- All expenses paid in the field: travel out/return, collective or individual accommodation depending on position and family, meals and hygiene expenses
- Ability to take in charge accompanied position depending on position
- Monthly salary ranging from 1550 to 1950 gross depending on the position and experiences + Allowance of 200 euros net paid on the mission
- Social security, complementary health, repatriation insurance and contribution to a pension
- Purchase of 2.8 days off per month
- 2 RTT per year
- Training of 2 to 3 weeks, achieved in Paris before leaving on mission
