THE cover price of The Sunday News has gone up with immediate effect from $15 to $60.
Zimpapers chief executive officer, Mr Justin Mutasa, said the increases were necessitated by astronomical increases in prices of raw materials used in the production of the newspaper.
He said prices of printing inks went up by 2400 per cent while printing plates had gone up by 2500 per cent and printing films by 8400 percent.
Mr Mutasa added that the labour costs were increased by 488 per cent.
