
Dunedin — After suffering a humiliating ordeal in the one-off Test against New Zealand in Napier, Zimbabwe will have an uphill task ahead of them in order to compete with the hosts on level terms, when the two sides clash in the first of three one-day internationals in Dunedin on Friday.
The visitors were bowled out twice in a day to suffer an innings and 301-run defeat at McLean Park in a rain-hit contest, which ended inside three days.

HARARE — CAPS United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe might not return to the local Premiership soccer giants this forthcoming season after he indicated yesterday that he was no longer interested in coaching football in the top-flight. HARARE — CAPS United embraced a new era yesterday when its two principal directors finally sealed a deal to give club vice-president Farai Jere a bigger ownership stake in the country’s third biggest football franchise. After weeks of prolonged negotiations which at times, appeared to divide the club, club president Twine Phiri and Jere finally put pen to paper yesterday in a new ownership structure they believe will take the Green Machine forward.
Jere, who up to now had a 25 percent stake in the club, will now have a 45 percent shareholding while Phiri will retain the other 55 percent.
