I congratulate the people of Zimbabwe on the twenty-ninth anniversary of their country’s independence on April 18. The United States has long stood with the people of Zimbabwe in their times of need and will continue to do so.
We commend the efforts the transitional government has undertaken and the progress it has achieved towards reforms that will benefit the Zimbabwean people. The United States encourages the government to continue those important steps as it works for a more promising future for Zimbabwe.

You claim to have stood by the people of zimbabwe but you are refusing with rigid determination to lift the illegal economic sanctions on the same people you claim to ‘love’…. Considering that its the same Clinton who co sponsored the ruinous ZDERA act alongside fellow racists Biden and Helms , this is an unashamed utterance from this witch.The people of zimbabwe are now saying loudly that lift the illegal embargo now!!!!all political players including the mdc-t who invited the sanctions are now saying they should be lifted…. hillary, its now time to drop arrogance and respect zimbabweans voices… People of zim want global support for significant economic recovery…
