i can see the green shoots of recovery as long as there is no barrier to trade…ie in the form of duties and silly taxes and levies. i know of a number of people who have gone back home and started some businesses- there is good money out of the country. the diaspora remittances can rebuild the economy as long as people know the government isnt going to take their money away. If the FCAs went looted a few years ago- the majority would have them and Biti would have money to spend.

Hapana nyaya.
Zanu PF destroyed the economy. They are responsible for the empty coffers. They cannot cry sanctions when they inherited a vibrant economy from Ian Smith.

Young men and women of all political persuasions, I call upon you to be reasonable and think of ways to get out of our problems.
Name-calling will not help anyone, and “locking-up” those looters might not be the best option. There are many ways of evading those evil-doers.

Mr Mugabe those sanctions will stay unless you stop sanctioning the violent disruptions of farming businesses! Please confess and repent for the sake of Zimbabwe. Look at what your degrees of violence have achieved for Zimbabwe. Surely for a man that claims to have 7 degrees we deserve better!
On another note I do not think the STERP document prepared by our inclusive gvt is the best they could do. Reading it just sounds like a recount of how Zimbabwe has been travelling in the past decade. With the collapse of the education system I do not see how the authors of this document could come up with just a paragragh and and not go deeper into issues.
I would have wanted to see a framework that goes beyond identifying the problems but some more detail.
Good work Mr Coltart on the education advisory board!

hugo you lack a bit of understanding how do you want the whole document to be into detail about education wait for the blueprint from the responsible minister. this is a framework that basically will be used as a guidline. l think its ok but its success will depend on political will. such things as when will fatrm invasions end and when will they lift sanctions thats very crucial

New Sadam, its you who is calling it a framework while its authors are calling it a blueprint. If you go back to the document it devotes something like ten pages talking about sanctions which do not exist. If its a framework as you say why write an essay (maybe what teachers call creative writing) on sanctions because it is pure fiction. Zimbabwe cannot produce its own food because idiots have taken over the farms and they continue to disrupt operations.
Anyway under Mugabe this thing will achieve nothing
