According to initial reports the car they were travelling in collided with a large truck. Morgan Tsvangirai was rushed to Avenues hospital.

Tsvangirai was travelling in a 4 car convoy, his car was 3rd from front when a haulage truck loaded with Maize, going towards Harare the driver negotiated and avoided two security cars in front and drove towards Tsvangirai’s Toyota Hilux vehicle head on killing Susan instantly who was seated behind the driver.
Interestingly a commercial farmer in the area, Deon Theron who went to the accident scene to take photographs of the accident has been arrested and the police have since confiscated the camera. Theron is the Vice President of the Commercial Farmers Union (CFU) he is being held at the Beatrice police station.
An MDC security team on the scene also reported that on inspection Mr Tsvangirai’s vehicle had a burst front left tyre and that the axel was faulty.The Haulage truck Driver was unharmed.
They were en route to Tsvangirai’s hometown of Buhera, Harare, where he was due to celebrate his appointment as Prime Minister at Murabinda Growth Point when the accident occurred.
Just last month, Susan Tsvangirai praised the power sharing agreement telling the BBC that the past decade had been an “endurance test” for her husband and his MDC colleagues.
“People went through hell, but they stuck to their ideals to seek change through democratic means,” she said. “This was a struggle that we endured with MDC cadres, activists, supporters and peace-loving Zimbabweans.
“To them I say thank you so much for the support they gave the MDC to reach this momentous period.”
Tsvangirai, who turns 57 on Tuesday, has been married to Susan for 31 years. They have six children.

President Robert Mugabe and his wife have since visited Tsvangirai in Hospital.
ZBC ’s News net Main news bulletin was cancelled without explanation and nothing has been reported on the second.The state broadcaster’s website reported the accident but left details about the wife’s death.
News coming in say police have rounded up members of an MDC investigation team which arrived at the scene first. “When police turned up, they arrested them (the MDC team) and confiscated the videos and pictures they had taken,” an eye witness said.
The International community stands with President Tsvangirai on this sad day. We are sorry for your loss and will support you in your sorrow.
There are few who believe that this was a mere coincidence, an accident. We condemn the ruling faction for its resistance to much needed change.

this time around they did a shaudy job and this signals an end to the vampire world. those survivors must be transferred to SA asap so that they can live to tell the story. dont worry about photos ‘ videos. i know this is a world of technology, mobile phones with cameras and people of zimbabwe are not that backward. they rushed to make sure he was the one alive. cant u see, even the CIO **** was there. though the driver is said to be unscathed, he wont survive becoz he failed an assignment. watch this space

What was Bonyongwe and Mnangagwa doing at the Avenues Clinic so soon after this tragic accident. It raises more questions than answers does it not? By all accounts this was a CIO hatchet job which partially failed in its objective to kill Tsvangirai. They want to finish him off at the hospital. I have just heard from someone in South Africa that Tsvangirai himself has also died. I hope and pray that this is not true!! May the dear soul of Mrs Susan Tsvangirai rest in eternal peace and also inspire us to redouble our efforts to rid our country of opression and tyranny. They MUST NOT WIN!!!

I smell a white hand
What is now clear is that this was not any accident. Try and analyse these
• Is it coincidence that the truck missed the first two vehicles and went for the pm s?
• The dimensions of the two cars are curious especially the protruding bull bars (to protect the driver). Do such trucks normally use protruding bull bars and what for?
• Immediate appearance of people taking video footage of the scene
• The fact that its not clear up to now whether the truck was carrying maize or aids drugs. Someone is trying to misinform.
• What caused the left tyre to burst
Who did it is not clear yet though it’s easy to assume it’s one of those zanu dirty tricks we all know about. Try and analyse these
• The use of a USAID truck ( incidentally shiri s assassin was using also an USAID truck)
• Was this white cfu vice president just passing by and just started taking video footage of the scene
• . How many of us go around with our video cameras.
• The immediate conclusion by mdc that this was a pure accident before an investigation has been done.
• Why did tswangirayi go to Botswana not south Africa and for what?

• If tswangirayi s next wife is white I wont be surprised (now they want to do it the Botswana way)

one of the local news papers said that the driver called some MDC guys who asked the white farmer to go and see what had happened. thats what has been said on how he got there.
