There is no Cholera in Zimbabwe, thanks to Robert Mugabe-Black Hitler. It is said Mugabe took all the Cholera, how? Shut all hospitals, shut water pipes in Harare, and shut the sewages. Yes! there is no Cholera because soon half the country will be dead leaving 6,000,000 people. Thats fine with me says Mutasa.

Indeed, maybe the world should take Mugabe on face value this time. South Africa should remove all medical stations from the border and should have soldiers repatriating wayward Zinbabweans who leave their country. Mugabe says his country is free of desease and starvation and that all is fine – then people who leave are not escaping and simply need to be sent home to their motherland. All countries bordering Zimbabwe should also seal borders and repatriate illegal migrants, the reason being that Mugabe states categorically that everything is fine in the country, with the latest miraculous resolution to the outbreak of Cholera.

Also, nothing is ever Mugabe’s fault – again blaming the “western powers” – not only for attempting to use the Cholera outbreak as a pretext for invasion from outside, but also blaming them for the introduction of Cholera in the first place.

The world is not fixated on Zimbabwe, in fact the more Mugabe spins stories and blames the west for everything ill in the country, the west and even african nieighbours disengage further – causing Zimbabwe to be further isolated, perhaps the attitude is gaining momentum that “let him say what he likes – he is fooling only himself”.

Zimmabwe’s economy is not the success Mugabe wants to think it is either, with the new currency – including $1 – $100 notes in January – the freshly printed $500,000,000 notes just released in to circulation, equal to around $5 january dollars. Again Mugabe blames the west, especially Britain, which has been effectively disengaged from the country since it’s first independence on 11/11/1965 and even more so after the second independence of 1980. He has no real idea that the “west” is more interested in itself than concerning itself with plotting to remove Mugabe – the man who attempts to grandstand against them – strangely persisting in such resolves when the country needs their expertise and assistance more than ever.

Now nobody with any credibility will accept Mugabe as a legitimate leader, he perhaps sees himself as the saviour of the nation, and to protect his position acts as a protector against counter revolutionary forces – real or imaginary. You cannot act or speak in revolutionary tones or ways when you’ve held the reigns of goverment for 28 years – in fact in any other part of the world where democratic process operates in any form or real sense, a leader like Mugabe would not have been around for this long. The result of such longevity is corruption, centrality of control and irresponsible government – and lack of implementation of new ideas to better the people and the country as a whole.

Mugabe, like his predecessor Ian Smith, has had his time. One could say that desite its failings, at least after the Ian Smith government, all the basics such as health care, education, sanitation, the economy, rule of law, and public services were in good order and held in high regard.

Its time to look elsewhere for a responsible government for the country, and for a new team – such a team should embrace proper democratic processes, while also engaging all efforts to fix the main pillars of the country – Health, Sanitation, Food Supple, Water, Energy – in fact in many respects needs to start from scratch.

Back to the Cholera epidemic, Mugabe can say what he likes, he is fooling nobody but himself.

This guy is just senile, period. How can SADC leaders be so blind. But it probably suits them not to push against Mugabe, because it sets the bar very high for human rights abuses they can commit: “look, we do better than Mugabe”.
    Sickening.
