A news report on Thursday quoted Welshman Ncube (pictured) saying that the talks which began on Monday focused on “western sanctions against Zimbabwe, pirate radio stations and government appointments including those of the attorney general and reserve bank governor”. While another report said ZANU PF wants ‘the MDC to rein in its supporters in western capitals running “pirate” radio stations’.

Guys – please – get a grip. We’re not controlled, owned or are even members of the MDC. They can do nothing to have us closed down. Our broadcasts on shortwave and via the internet are completely legal and we want nothing more than a free, peaceful, democratic Zimbabwe. And yes we do believe that Zimbabweans have an absolute right to the information that has been denied them for so many years.
Perhaps I can remind you of the fact that in 2000 I challenged the government’s broadcasting monopoly in the Supreme Court and won the right to set up the first independent radio station, on the basis that freedom of expression was enshrined in Zimbabwe’s constitution. But Robert Mugabe used his presidential powers to have the station shut down after just 6 days, ignoring his country’s own constitution and courts of law.
Get rid of the appalling broadcasting regulations which were introduced in response to this court ruling. Allow myriad broadcasters to apply for a license, register as many as you can. Those that are any good will survive, the bad ones will go the way of all bad media. Get some decent newspapers on the streets, allow as many community radio stations as you can cram onto a waveband.
If you want to get rid of radio stations broadcasting into Zimbabwe – free the media. Really free it. It really is that simple. Discussion over, now will you PLEASE start talking about the real issues. You have a population that’s desperate, investors ready to throw money at Zimbabwe the minute there is a guaranteed return to the rule of law, respect for property rights, an end to the political intimidation and the massive human rights abuses – and Gono and Tomana really do have to go.

Well said Gerry, so simple one wonders how these thick Zanu hoardes and their website-monitoring footsoldiers cannot get it.

No you are wrong Gerry, we are not wasting our time but we are wasting YOUR time. You should have advised your puppets not to sign a document they did not understand. You can froth by the mouth from wherever you are beaming from but we will continue telling MDC to get you closed down which we know is not possible. Guess who wins in that situation?

Dream on Guseni or should I say Mr 2 cents. You benefit from cheerleading. You think Mugabe is a kid who will be made to renegotiate a document because some morons were outsmarted? Dream on chief. Even if I fall into a coma now and wake up in five years time, I will still find you claiming that zanu pf has lost everything and you will still have the chubby cheeked one as your leader, unsuprisingly.

ana JM, you are showing that you have given up on removing the old man, thats good that you admit anyway that your bufoon leaders dont have what it takes to deal with the old man. You also wish that zanu will collapse thereafter. Wishfull thinking forms a big part of MDC-T strategy. You also wish zanu will pull out and MDc remains flourishing, hehehhe, how does zanu withdraw from itself now?

Don’t you feel ashamed to be the only Zanu ass-licking fellow in town? Look at the postings on the websites and you seem to be the only one still standing! From the ZimDaily days you were College Boy, you go to Zimtimes and you turn to Dzinyangoma and here it’s Abel. Are you cheating your sponsors and making triple claims for your effort? What an moron.

Actually the 30 days only apply to ZANU’s part, the removing of sanctions and radio stations does not have a time line. and thats MDC’s part, all they have to do is say they should be removed.
And they all say they may go beyond the 30 days. And From the looks of it zanu is willing to sacrifice Gono. I am not sure about Tomana though. But the zanu i know since they have given Gono a senior post in ZANU pf they may get rid of him .
Tomana will have an accident very soon and that will be the end of him.

Wise Abel, sometimes majority just means fools are on one side. You are now using names linked to my name, next you will be giving your new born kids the name Abel.
As for the different names, I understand your frustration, anyone who opposes MDC must be the same person. The 43% that voted for Mugabe in March 2008 is Abel. I am more powerfull than I thought then.

I know ufunge, there are like 364 Abels now on these forums, even though there originally is one. So you M.D.C. guys really do not stand a chance. One guy pretty much has all the Debating Stamina while the rest f you resort to Tabloid Tactics, next thing you guys will boycott the forum like your other Girlfriends in power there..!!
Point of Note Rinashe: Abel does not debate. He just dismisses facts and repeats his beliefs. That is not debate, that is refusing to accept another’s point of view. The exact opposite of debate. You are pretty much the same. !!(Ed)

Its not very usefull to debate with wishfull thinkers Mr Editor. I state the facts and events on the ground normally back me up.It seems evry one who is against The MDC-T is daft. ( I actually hate them with a very strong passion so I may seem a bit unfair to them).
Abel..you imagine that your World view is the only one. Events and facts are usually interpreted by the person who reads them. Unfortunately, inbuilt bias is the cause of more concern when balancing News Items. Not everybody reads the same article in the same way. (Ed)

So Mr Editor, how about the others.? I am sure their content leaves a lot to be desired.
No Rinashe..their comments are subdued…They restrict their comments to observations or opinions. NOT PROPAGANDA. (Ed)
