I am worried with what is going to happen now. Does anybody have a clue of the solutions available now if the GPA fails?

The only solutions are those which are accepted by “All” sides of the GPA. Historically, anything which reduces the Presidents ability to influence the economy or the security Apparatus has been rejected out of hand by Zanu-PF. The future of Zimbabwe lies outside the country now. All means to engage and resolve the political conflicts by Parly have been negated by moves on the part of the Security Chefs. Only SADC, AU, SADC Troika or the UN will influence the outcome. Zimbabwe is at a dangerous Cusp. It is my opinion that it is on the edge of Civil War. (Editor)

Have you guys ever heard of Iraq and Afghanistan, things may not be as bad as you imagine them to be. Regime change could actually completely destroy an entire nation..!!

Civil War, thats a good one Mr. Editor, I would try my hand in stand-up Comedic Satire if I were you. (No offense)

Furirai ruzhinji kuti rwu sakure, kurima nekuyedza kuzviriritira pane ku kuchidzira mhirizhonga. The country cannot survive a conflict of any kind.

As a Political Scientist. I don’t need or Welcome uninformed opinions (Yours Included). Zimbabwe is in a dangerous state because you now have two polarised executives. I also endorse your statement that the country can’t survive a Civil war. However, it also can’t survive as a Nation without a Root and Branch change of the Constitution and New Elections which are accepted by the majority of the populace. The People have been offered and accepted a new political dispensation. Then the game is changed and they have it taken away. Having suffered starvation, Cholera, Unemployment, Violence and a complete collapse of the health and education sectors I don’t think they are in the mood to tolerate any more. (Editor)

  7. That is if you have the support of the people you can do as you wish MDC should really think they have the whole of zimbabwe on they side, only a few rotten apples here and there but all the same look at that lady from MDC who was almost taken away by CIO only to discover people where numbering to be more than the CIO and they left her watch as that writer at the top said its only a few more moves and that’s the end of R G Mugabe, If you sow **** you will reap the smell here it comes the end of zanu pf

Mr Editor, I understand your concern about a civil war but I think its a bit premature for that right now. Normally a civil war starts when one side beats up another and the one retaliates. In this case one side is getting smacked and will continue to get smacked until they hit back. Now knowing the calibre of the MDCstas, they would rather run away into the desert and bark from there. Why? because the regime will just make sure it claps only the important MDC structures and this time will try to avoid the civilians and just frustrate the MDC’s ability to be led from within.
On a different note though, I have always believed the issue of Zimbabwe’s problems will not simply go away before there is a spillage of blood, I just dont know when.I suspect when the old man disapears and creates a vacuum. His going away needs to be handled quite sensitively, no wishfull thinking. These Zanu pf chaps mean business, they are a commited breed, they never went through the war by coincidence. I hope for the best but fear for the worst. That was the gospel according to saint Abel
